Privacy Policy
This policy explains what personal information DigiAbility collects, why we collect it, who we share it with and the control you keep over it.
Last updated 1 January 2026
1. Information we collect
We collect the details you provide when you create a profile or submit an application: your name, contact details, date of birth, address, disability details and the supporting documents required by the scheme you are applying for.
We also record technical information such as your device type and approximate location, used only to keep accounts secure and to diagnose faults.
2. How we use your information
Your information is used to match you to schemes you are eligible for, to submit and progress applications on your behalf where you have asked us to, and to keep you informed about status changes.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.
4. How we protect it
Documents are encrypted in transit and at rest. Access is role-based, logged and reviewed. Staff accounts require multi-factor authentication.
5. Your rights
You may request a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct anything inaccurate, or ask us to delete your account and associated records where no active application depends on them.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details on the contact page.
6. How long we keep it
Application records are retained for as long as the issuing department requires, and no longer than seven years after an application closes unless the law requires otherwise.
